Set Up Your First Safe Platform

Breaking Your Starting Block

When you spawn, you're standing on a single block suspended in the void. Break this block by left-clicking it repeatedly. You'll receive basic materials—collect everything that drops.

Building Your Platform

Immediately place blocks around you to create a safe floor. Work quickly to avoid falling into the void, which will kill you. Arrange your collected blocks in a 5×5 or larger square beneath your feet.

Expanding Safely

Once you have solid ground, extend your platform outward in all directions. This gives you:

• Safe space to move without falling
• Room to place chests and crafting stations
• A foundation for future building projects

Keep expanding until you have at least a 10×10 area. Place a chest immediately to store excess materials. Build walls or railings around the edges so you don't accidentally walk off during the night or while distracted.
