Switch Between Included Presets

Access Preset Menu

Open the Iris shader options and locate the Solar Shaders preset selector. The mod includes several pre-configured profiles designed for different playstyles and hardware capabilities.

Understand Available Presets

Each preset balances visual quality, lighting style, and performance differently:

• Presets optimized for high FPS reduce shader complexity while keeping the core visual improvements
• Balanced presets offer a middle ground between visuals and frame rate
• Quality presets maximize visual fidelity for players with stronger hardware

Test and Switch

Select a preset and return to your world to observe changes in lighting, water, shadows, and overall brightness. Presets affect how the sun illuminates terrain, cloud appearance, and night-time atmosphere. If your frame rate drops below acceptable levels, switch to a lighter preset. You can change presets at any time without restarting the game.
