Soft Weather Resource Pack Guide

Making Storms Readable

Soft Weather is a texture pack with a single job: it changes only the weather particles, leaving every block, item, and mob texture in its standard vanilla look. Heavy rain streaks are thinned into light, faint drops, and the large snowflakes of cold biomes are shrunk into small, subtle flakes.

The practical effect is a clear view. During a storm you can scan a wide landscape or work on your base without the screen filling with dense rain lines or oversized snow. Because the pack touches nothing but precipitation, it stacks cleanly with other texture packs that handle blocks and items, so you can keep your preferred look and still calm the weather.

It runs in plain vanilla and works in any standard world, with no setup beyond enabling it. If you only want gentler rain and snow, this is the whole change. If you want altered terrain or mobs, you will need a different pack for that.
