How to Navigate Tabs and Pages Without Getting Lost
Sodium's options are numerous, and this mod reorganizes them into scrollable tabs and scrollable pages so nothing gets cut off or hidden off-screen. If you've ever had a settings screen where buttons ran past the edge of the window, this is the fix.
Moving Around the Screen
1. Open the options screen. Tabs run along the top (or side, depending on layout) — click a tab to switch categories.
2. Within a tab, scroll down to see additional pages of options that don't fit on one screen.
3. Use the search bar if you already know what you're looking for rather than browsing.
Keeping Your Bearings
- Tabs group related settings, so if you're adjusting something visual, stay in the visual tab; if it's about performance, check the performance-oriented tab.
- Because pages scroll, don't assume a tab is empty just because the first screen looks sparse — scroll before concluding a setting isn't there.
- If you also use Sodium Extra, its additional options appear within this same scrollable structure, which is exactly why the scrollable pages exist. Expect more content per tab than vanilla Sodium alone.
- If you run Iris for shaders, look for the shader pack button on this screen — it's integrated here so you don't have to dig through a separate menu.
This layout is designed so that adding more options (from Extra or elsewhere) never breaks the screen — it just adds more to scroll through.
