Making a Mod's Settings Appear Inside Sodium Instead of a Separate Screen
The Goal
Many mods ship their own standalone config screen. If they support the Sodium Options API, you can have those settings live inside Sodium's options menu instead, keeping all your graphics-related tweaks in one place.
Steps
1. Check whether the mod in question advertises Sodium Options API support. If it does, the integration is usually automatic once both mods are installed — no toggle needed.
2. If the mod has its own config screen and also a Sodium page, use the Sodium page for anything graphics-related and the standalone screen for gameplay settings. The API page is meant for rendering options.
3. If the mod has no Sodium page and you're the developer, add one using the API's page builder and register it on the client. Do not duplicate options that Sodium already controls.
4. If you're a player and the page is missing, re-check that the mod version you have actually includes the integration — older builds of many mods predate the API.
What Not to Expect
The API does not move arbitrary settings into Sodium by itself. It only provides the framework; each mod has to opt in. A mod with no integration will keep its own screen no matter what you install.
Verifying It Worked
Open Sodium's options and look for a new entry named after the mod. If it's there, the integration is active and its options are now grouped with your other video settings.
