Fixing a Mod's Options Page Not Showing Up in Sodium
Why Pages Go Missing
The Sodium Options API only renders pages that were registered correctly and that the API can find at menu-build time. If a mod that should add a page isn't showing one, the cause is almost always one of a few things.
Check In This Order
1. Confirm both Sodium and the Sodium Options API are actually loaded. Open the mod list and search for them. A missing API is the most common reason a dependent mod's page never appears.
2. Check the mod that owns the page. Some mods only add their Sodium page when a specific config flag is enabled, or only on certain loaders.
3. Look at the log for registration errors during client startup. The API logs when a page fails to register, and the reason (missing dependency, wrong side, duplicate ID) is usually stated plainly.
4. Verify you're looking in the right place. Pages added through the API appear inside Sodium's options screen, not in the vanilla options menu or in Mod Menu.
5. If the page shows but is empty, the owning mod registered a page without adding groups — that's a bug in that mod, not in the API.
When It's Not Your Fault
If the log shows a clean registration and the page still doesn't render, it's likely a version mismatch between the API and Sodium. Update both together rather than one at a time.
