Sodium Fullbright Mod: How to Use It
Extending Sodium's Brightness Limit
Sodium Fullbright Mod is a small add-on for
Sodium that raises the maximum brightness setting. In vanilla
Sodium, the brightness slider caps at 100%. With this mod installed, that cap is extended to 1000%, giving you a much wider range to work with.
The mod only touches the brightness slider. It does not change any other
Sodium functions, so the rest of your rendering setup stays exactly as it was. You still adjust brightness through the same slider in Sodium's video settings; the difference is simply how far the slider can go.
This expanded range is aimed at high-visibility use cases, where you want the world lit far beyond the normal maximum. Because the change is limited to the slider's upper limit, installing or removing the mod is a straightforward swap with no other settings to reconfigure.
