Troubleshoot Missing Chinese Text in Sodium

Check Language is Actually Set

Verify that Minecraft's language setting is correctly applied. Go to Options > Language and confirm your chosen Chinese variant is selected (it should be highlighted).

Restart Minecraft Fully

Language changes sometimes require a complete game restart to propagate to all mods. Close Minecraft entirely and relaunch it. Check if Sodium's UI now displays in Chinese.

Verify Mod Installation

Confirm the localization mod is in your mods folder and that you're using a compatible Minecraft version. The mod should load without errors in your launcher's log.

Check for Conflicting Mods

If other mods override language files, they may interfere. Try launching with only Sodium and its localization mod to isolate the issue.

If Chinese text still doesn't appear after these steps, the mod may not be properly loaded or there could be a version incompatibility.
