Switch Between Chinese and English Without Reinstalling

Use Minecraft's Language Switcher

You don't need to uninstall or reconfigure anything. Simply open Options > Language and select English to revert Sodium's interface to English, or switch back to Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese at any time.

Apply Changes Instantly

The language change applies immediately in most cases. If menus don't update right away, close the settings screen and reopen it. For a guaranteed refresh, restart Minecraft.

Keep the Mod Installed

The localization mod remains active in your mods folder. It doesn't interfere with English mode—it simply provides Chinese translations that activate when you select a Chinese language in Minecraft's settings.

This approach lets you switch languages on the fly without managing multiple mod installations or configurations, making it convenient if you play with friends who prefer different languages or if you want to practice reading Chinese in-game.
