How Phantoms Spawn in This Mod

Unlike vanilla Minecraft, this mod spawns phantoms based on your y-coordinate rather than sleep deprivation alone. Phantoms will only appear when you are above a certain altitude, and only during nighttime. They cannot spawn if there is a light-blocking block directly above you, which provides a simple way to avoid them.

To prevent phantom encounters, either stay below the spawn altitude threshold at night or position yourself under a solid block. If you prefer active defense, certain items can be held to repel phantoms away from you. This gives you multiple strategies to manage phantom spawning based on your playstyle and current location.
