Getting Started with the Soar Client

Opening the Menu and Finding Modules

Soar is a client-side mod, so it does not need to be installed on a server to work. Once it is loaded, a keybind opens the module menu, which is the main hub for everything the client offers. From there you can browse and toggle modules, which are grouped into categories: HUD, Render, Player, and Misc. HUD modules change what information is drawn on your screen, Render modules affect how the world is displayed, Player modules alter player-related behavior, and Misc holds everything that does not fit the other groups.

Beyond modules, the menu also gives access to themes for changing the client's look, capes, your profile, and the built-in music player. Soar supports multiple Minecraft versions, so the same menu layout applies whichever version you launch. If a module does not seem to do anything, check that it is enabled and that its settings suit your current game mode.
