Distinguish Between Cursed and Enchanted Items

The Red Name Rule

The mod makes this distinction clear through color:

• Red item name = Contains curses (hidden from tooltip)
• White/normal item name = No curses present

Glint Behavior

The enchantment glint (shimmering effect) works differently with curses:

• Items with regular enchantments AND curses will still show the glint
• Items with ONLY curses will have no glint at all
• A red-named item with no glint is purely cursed
• A red-named item with glint has both curses and regular enchantments

Checking Tooltips

Hover over any item to see its tooltip. Look for:

1. Item name color (red = cursed)

2. Listed enchantments (if visible, these are regular enchantments, not curses)

3. Absence of curse text (this is intentional—curses are hidden)

This system means you must stay alert when looting or trading, as cursed items look deceptively normal until you inspect them.
