Smooth Scrolling Mod Guide
How Smooth Scrolling Works
Smooth Scrolling Mod changes how scrolling behaves in Minecraft's menus and lists. Instead of jumping instantly between positions, the view glides to its destination, making navigation feel fluid rather than jarring. This applies across many screens, including chat, the hotbar, and your inventory.
The mod runs quietly in the background once installed, so there is nothing to activate. If you want to fine-tune the feel, open the config and adjust the animation speed. Safe values range from 0 to 1. A value of 0 means instant scrolling, while 1 means no visible scrolling at all. Lower values produce a faster animation, and higher values slow it down. If you decide you prefer the original behavior, you can disable the effect entirely.
That is the whole mod: smoother scrolling, an optional speed setting, and the choice to turn it off.
