Troubleshoot: Selection Box Not Sliding Smoothly

Verify the Mod is Active

Check your mod list to confirm Smooth Hud is installed and enabled. If it's disabled, enable it and restart your game.

Check Your Settings

Open the Smooth Hud settings menu. Ensure the animation is not set to zero duration or disabled. If animation speed is set to minimum, increase it to a noticeable value.

Test Item Switching

Switch between hotbar slots using:

• Mouse scroll wheel (scroll up or down)
• Number keys (1–9) on your keyboard

Watch the white selection box carefully. It should glide rather than snap instantly to the new slot.

Verify Compatibility

If the animation still doesn't appear, check that no conflicting mods are overriding hotbar behavior. Mods that heavily modify the HUD or inventory system may interfere. Try disabling other HUD-related mods temporarily to isolate the issue.

Restart your game after making changes to see if the smooth animation returns.
