Adjust the Speed of Your Hotbar Selection Animation

Access the Settings Menu

Open your Minecraft game and press the key bound to your mod settings menu (usually found in your controls or mod configuration screen). Look for Smooth Hud in the list of installed mods and select it to open the mod's settings panel.

Change Animation Speed

Within the Smooth Hud settings, locate the animation speed or duration slider. This controls how quickly the white selection box glides across your hotbar when you switch items.

• Increase the value to make the slide slower and more deliberate
• Decrease the value to make the slide faster and snappier

Test your changes by switching between hotbar slots using your mouse scroll wheel or number keys. The selection box should immediately reflect your new speed preference.

Save Your Changes

Confirm and save your settings. Your animation speed will now apply every time you switch items during gameplay. You can return to this menu anytime to fine-tune the effect further.
