Smart Brain Lib Mod Guide
What Smart Brain Lib Does
Smart Brain Lib is a library mod, not a content mod. On its own it adds no new mobs, items, or blocks. Instead, it gives other mods a better foundation for building mob artificial intelligence.
It reworks Minecraft's default brain system, the framework that decides what a mob thinks about and does. The mod handles memory types automatically, so mod authors no longer need to set them up by hand. Sensors can be configured in more advanced and flexible ways, and built-in behaviors support things like cooldowns and callbacks.
A key feature is runtime editing: you can add, remove, or change a mob's behavior while the game is running. The mod also swaps the standard brain functions for more efficient ones to improve performance, and it includes extra sensors, behaviors, and memory types beyond vanilla.
Because it is a library, you normally install it alongside mods that depend on it. If a mod requires Smart Brain Lib, it simply will not work correctly without it.
