Why Totem Size Matters in Combat

When holding a full-size Totem of Undying during PvP, the large model can obstruct your view of opponents, making it harder to track their movements and predict their next action. A smaller totem removes this visual obstacle while keeping you protected.

Setting Up for PvP

Activate the Smaller Totems Resource Pack before entering PvP combat. Hold your totem in your off-hand so your main hand remains free for your weapon or tool. The reduced totem size means you'll have a much clearer line of sight to your opponent without sacrificing the life-saving effect if you take lethal damage.

Practice and Adjustment

Spend time in your world getting used to the smaller totem's appearance. Since it's still the same item with identical functionality, your muscle memory for when the totem will activate remains unchanged—only your screen real estate improves.
