Add More Chest Space

The starting living room includes basic chests, but you'll quickly need more storage as you collect resources from the reef and ocean floor.

Step 1: Gather wood from the large tree outside your base or break driftwood from the ocean.

Step 2: Use your crafting table to make additional wooden chests or upgrade to a double chest by placing two chests side-by-side.

Step 3: Place new chests along the walls of your living room or create a dedicated storage room by expanding into an adjacent chamber.

Organize by Resource Type

Arrange chests by category—one for building blocks, one for tools, one for food, and one for decorative items. This makes finding items faster when you return from exploring the reef.

Tip: Label chests with signs if your mod version supports them, or remember their positions by the items stacked on top.
