Harvest the Surface Farm for Food

Accessing the Farm

The surface farm is located near your spawn point and contains ready-to-harvest crops. This gives you immediate access to food without hunting or fishing.

Gathering Crops

Approach the planted crops and harvest them by breaking the mature plants. Collect the seeds and food items that drop. Common starter crops include wheat and vegetables—gather enough to sustain yourself for several days.

Replanting for Continuous Supply

After harvesting, replant the seeds in the same tilled soil. Water is typically already present or nearby. This ensures a renewable food source as you settle into your base.

Storing Your Harvest

Bring your collected food down to the underground house and store it in the available chests or storage areas. Having a stockpile means you won't need to return to the surface farm constantly.

Expanding the Farm

Once comfortable, you can expand the farm by tilling more soil and planting additional seeds. This creates a larger food production area for long-term survival.
