Organize Your Storage System Effectively
Using the Provided Chests
The starter house includes multiple empty chests in the storage room. Assign each chest a specific purpose: one for ores, one for ingots, one for building blocks, one for food, and one for miscellaneous items. Label them with signs or organize by color if possible.
Creating a Sorting System
Place chests in a logical layout near your crafting area. Keep frequently used items like wood, stone, and dirt in the most accessible chests. Store rare or valuable items (enchanted gear, diamonds) in chests closer to your bedroom for security.
Managing Overflow
As you gather more materials, you'll need additional storage. Build new chests outside the cabin or in an adjacent room, maintaining the same organizational system. The stonecutter and anvil in your storage room should stay clear for active crafting.
Quick Access Tips
Keep your hotbar stocked with tools and common blocks. Use the crafting stations to convert raw materials into useful forms before storing them. Regularly sort through chests to prevent clutter and make space for new discoveries.
