Locating Bamboo Stands

Bamboo grows abundantly throughout the jungle biome surrounding your house. Look for tall stalks of bamboo in clusters—they're easy to spot and often grow in dense patches near water. The thicker the bamboo forest, the more resources you can gather.

Cutting and Collecting

Break bamboo stalks by punching or using any tool. Each stalk drops bamboo blocks that stack in your inventory. Bamboo grows tall, so climb or build up to reach higher sections. Collect multiple stacks since bamboo is useful for many early-game projects.

Crafting with Bamboo

Craft bamboo into sticks at a crafting table—useful for tools, scaffolding, and fuel. Bamboo scaffolding is excellent for temporary building and climbing. You can also use bamboo blocks directly for construction, as they have a distinctive appearance that fits the Japanese aesthetic of your base.

Regularly return to nearby bamboo patches to maintain a steady supply. As you expand your base, bamboo becomes your primary building and crafting material.
