Look at the space around your house and decide what you need most: storage, a workshop, a furnace room, or additional sleeping areas. Clear nearby bamboo to create building space while leaving some for resources and aesthetics. Plan your layout before gathering materials.

Gathering Building Materials

Chop bamboo and jungle wood to collect blocks for construction. Mine stone if you want a more durable structure. The chests in your house may contain additional materials you can use. Bamboo blocks and wood fit the traditional Japanese style of your home.

Building Additions

Construct new rooms adjacent to or near your house. Add a dedicated storage area with chests, a smelting station with furnaces, or a crafting workshop. Use stairs and slabs to create roofing that matches your home's style. Doors and fences help organize spaces and keep mobs out.

Decorating and Finalizing

Add details like lanterns, carpets, and plants to make your expanded base feel cohesive. Leave some bamboo standing for visual appeal and continued resource gathering. Create pathways between buildings using blocks or dirt paths.
