Prepare Before Sunset

Before nightfall, ensure all doors are closed and you're inside the cabin. Check that you have a bed—if one isn't already in the house, craft one using the wood you've gathered. Place the bed in a safe room away from windows and doors.

Light Up the Interior

Place torches throughout the cabin's rooms. This prevents hostile mobs from spawning inside and lets you see clearly. Focus on dark corners and areas without natural light.

Stay Inside and Sleep

Once night falls, remain indoors. Use your bed to sleep through the night—this skips the dangerous darkness and resets your spawn point at the cabin. Avoid opening doors or going outside until morning arrives.
