Accessing Extended FOV Settings

Slyde Mod allows you to set field of view values far beyond Minecraft's standard slider range, creating extreme zoom or wide-angle effects.

How to Change FOV

1. Open your mod settings or configuration screen (typically accessed via the mod menu or in-game settings)

2. Locate the FOV option—this will show a text input field rather than a restricted slider

3. Enter your desired FOV value directly

4. Apply the changes and test in-game

Important Notes

• Very high FOV values (extreme zoom-out) can cause visual distortion and performance drops
• Very low FOV values create tunnel vision and may cause disorientation
• Start with modest adjustments (±10–20 from default) and gradually increase if you want more extreme effects
• Some servers may flag extreme FOV as suspicious; use responsibly in multiplayer
• Changes take effect immediately or after reloading your world, depending on your mod version
