How Slimes Pick Up and Drop Items in SlimyBoyos

What the Mod Changes

SlimyBoyos gives slimes a simple carrying behavior. Instead of ignoring items lying on the ground, a slime can pick up a single item and hold onto it. That item stays with the slime until the slime dies, at which point it is dropped back into the world.

What This Means in Practice

Each slime carries only one item at a time, so you won't see a slime hoarding a whole pile. The item it swallowed is not lost — killing the slime returns it. This turns slimes into a light, mobile form of item storage, whether by accident or by design.

Things to Keep in Mind

Because the drop happens on death, the item is only recovered if you actually kill the slime. A slime that despawns or is removed some other way may take its cargo with it. If a slime is holding something you want, deal with the slime directly rather than letting it wander off.
