Experience Shaders in the Nether and End Dimensions

Travel to the Nether

Create or enter a Nether portal. Slight Shaders automatically adapts its lighting and sky rendering for this dimension. You'll notice the sky takes on the characteristic reddish tones of the Nether while shadows and light effects still function.

Observe Nether-Specific Lighting

Light sources like lava, glowstone, and soul lanterns glow with enhanced brightness due to emissive texturing. Shadows cast by terrain and structures appear even in the dim Nether environment, adding depth to the landscape.

Enter the End Dimension

Travel through an End portal. The shader adjusts again to suit the End's unique atmosphere. The sky rendering changes to match the dimension's dark, void-like appearance.

Explore Lighting Effects

In the End, notice how the shader handles the limited light sources. Endermen and other mobs benefit from subsurface scattering, making them appear more natural. Shadows from the central island and floating terrain become visible.

Compare Across Dimensions

Return to the Overworld to see how dramatically Slight Shaders adapts. This demonstrates the mod's versatility across all three dimensions.
