Setting up a Korail commuter line with working destination signs
Placing and configuring your train route
Start by laying down Minecraft Transit Railway tracks in your desired route. Place a Korail train model (such as Class 331000 or 391000) on the tracks using the mod's spawn mechanics. These trains come with exterior and interior route destination signs that display your chosen line information.
Configuring destination displays
Access the train's configuration interface to set your route number and destination. The pack includes pre-configured Korean station names and line designations that will appear on both the front destination display and interior passenger information screens. Test the train by running it along your track—the signs should update to reflect your chosen route.
For multi-car consists, each car's interior displays will synchronize with the main route setting. This creates an authentic commuter experience where passengers see consistent information throughout the train. You can customize routes by editing the train's properties in the Minecraft Transit Railway mod settings to match real Korail line numbers if desired.
Ensure your tracks form a complete loop or have proper terminus stations for the train to navigate correctly and display destination information at each stop.
