Customizing train sounds and audio effects

Understanding the sound pack features

The Sleek Commuter Textures pack includes 38 custom train sounds covering acceleration, cruising, braking, and station operations. These sounds are automatically applied to Korail trains and play based on train movement and actions. Sounds include authentic Korean station announcement tones and door chimes.

Managing audio in your world

Sounds play automatically when trains operate—no additional configuration is needed beyond having the resource pack installed. Acceleration and braking sounds vary based on train speed and throttle changes. Station stop sounds trigger when trains reach designated stations on your route.

If sounds seem quiet or absent, verify that your Minecraft sound settings have Master Volume and Ambient/Block sounds enabled. The resource pack's audio files load with the textures, so ensure the pack is active in your world's resource pack list. Different Korail classes may have slightly different audio characteristics, adding variety to your rail network. You can layer multiple trains to create realistic station soundscapes with overlapping departure and arrival sequences.
