How to Use Blade Stands as a Weapon Rack for Combat Swapping

Why Use Stands in Combat

Blade Stands are not just decorative — they function as quick-swap stations. If you carry multiple Slashblades with different soul charges or upgrade tiers, placing stands around your base lets you grab the right blade without digging through inventory.

Setting Up a Swap Station

Place a Blade Stand dual or Blade Wall Rack dual near your front door or arena entrance. Slot your primary combat blade in one side and a backup or utility blade in the other. When you return from a fight, right-click to deposit the drained blade and pick up a fresh one.

For a full loadout, line up several Blade Stand single blocks in a row, each holding a different tier — Wood, Bamboo Light, Nameless, and your top-tier blade. This makes it obvious at a glance which blade needs soul farming.

Managing Soul States

Blades with stored souls may behave differently when placed in a stand. If a blade refuses to slot, try unequipping it first by switching to an empty hotbar slot. Some upgraded blades lock their soul when displayed, so always check the blade's tooltip before storing it long-term. Breaking a stand returns both the stand and the blade, so you can relocate your swap station freely.
