How to Craft and Upgrade Your First Slashblade

Getting Started

Begin by gathering the base materials for a Slashblade. The mod centers on soul-infused crafting, so you will need to collect Blade Soul Crystals and refine them into Blade Soul Ingots. These drop from mobs that carry souls or can be obtained through the mod's soul absorption mechanic when you defeat enemies with a blade in hand.

Once you have your ingots, craft the basic blade tiers in order: Anonymity -Wood-, then Anonymity -Bamboo Light-, then Anonymity -Nameless-. Each tier is a stepping stone — you cannot skip straight to the higher blades without the previous one as an ingredient.

Upgrading Further

To push past the Anonymity line, you need Proud Souls, which drop from stronger enemies. Combine Proud Souls with your current blade at a crafting table to advance. Tiny Proud Soul items are the early fragments you will accumulate first; combine several to form a full Proud Soul.

Higher-tier blades like Sharpness -White- and Noted -Silver Bamboo Light- require Blade Soul Spheres and Blade Soul Trapezohedrons, which are compressed forms of the crystal. Craft these by combining crystals in a 3x3 or 2x2 pattern depending on the tier. Always keep your blade in your inventory when fighting — many upgrade materials only drop for players actively wielding a Slashblade.
