Build Furniture and Decorations on Slab Counters

Creating a Slab Counter Base

Place slabs at the height where you want your furniture to sit. These act as your counter or shelf surface. You can use multiple slabs in a row to create longer countertops.

Placing Furniture Blocks

Position chests, crafting tables, and other furniture directly on top of the slabs. The mod ensures these blocks sit perfectly at slab height instead of floating above. This creates a natural, flush appearance for your base decoration.

Stacking and Layering

You can place additional blocks on top of your furniture to:

  • Stack chests for compact storage
  • Build shelving units with multiple levels
  • Create integrated workstations combining crafting tables and storage

Combining with Terrain Slabs

If you're using the Terrain Slabs compatibility feature, you can mix regular slabs with terrain slabs to create seamless counter surfaces. Short grass and ferns can grow naturally on these combined surfaces, adding decorative detail to your builds without gaps or floating elements.
