Create a Multiplayer Roleplay Scenario
Establishing Roles and Rules
With your friends, discuss what kind of city life you want to simulate. Decide on roles: some players might be shopkeepers, others residents, workers, or service providers. Agree on basic rules for your roleplay—for example, whether you'll use survival mode mechanics, how you'll handle currency or trading, and what areas are public versus private. Write these down so everyone stays on the same page.
Setting Up Functional Spaces
Designate certain buildings for specific purposes: a shop district, a residential area, a workplace, or a community center. Have each player claim a building or role-appropriate space. Set up the interiors to match their function—stock a shop with goods, furnish an office with desks, or create a restaurant with seating and counters. Use signs and item frames to label businesses and add immersion.
Running Your City
Start simple: players visit each other's spaces, trade items, or complete small tasks together. Gradually add complexity—organize events, create job scenarios, or establish a trading economy. Use chat or voice to narrate your activities and stay in character. The city's realistic layout naturally supports this kind of collaborative storytelling.
