How to Filter Dungeon Chat Messages in SkyHanni

Dungeons generate a lot of repetitive system chat — ability cooldowns, milestone spam, and party noise. SkyHanni's dungeon filter trims it.

Finding the Dungeon Filter

Open /sh and look under the Chat category for Dungeon Filter (sometimes nested under a Dungeons section). Toggle it on to activate.

What It Removes

Typical dungeon spam includes:

  • Repeated ability and cooldown messages.
  • Milestone and scoreboard-style announcements.
  • Class ability triggers that fire constantly.
  • Party-finder and dungeon-entry notices.

Enable the sub-toggles for the message types you find distracting. Many players keep score and boss messages visible while hiding the rest.

Combining With Other Filters

Dungeon chat often overlaps with general chat filter categories. If a message still slips through, check both the Dungeon Filter and the main Chat Filter — some lines are covered by only one.

Tips

Run a quick test in a low-stakes dungeon run after changing settings. If you hide something important (like a puzzle failure warning), re-enable that specific toggle. The filter is purely visual and doesn't change game behaviour or hide anything from teammates.
