How to Set Up and Read the Dungeon Minimap in Skyblocker

The dungeon minimap is one of the most useful Skyblocker features for Catacombs runs, since it shows the layout of rooms around you and marks special rooms as you explore.

Enabling the Minimap

Open the Skyblocker configuration through its keybind or the Mod Menu entry, then find the Dungeon section. Toggle the minimap on. You can usually adjust its position, size, and whether it rotates with your facing direction. Set it somewhere that does not cover your health or mana bars.

Reading Room Icons

As you clear rooms, the minimap fills in. Different icons indicate different room types: puzzle rooms, trap rooms, the blood room, and the entrance. Green typically means a room is cleared, while other colors mark unexplored or special rooms. Use this to plan your route so you do not backtrack.

Practical Tips

  • Pair the minimap with the puzzle solvers so you know which puzzle you are walking into before you enter.
  • On large floors, zoom the minimap out slightly so you can see the whole layout at once.
  • If the map feels cluttered, disable secret waypoints or extra markers you do not need.

Once configured, glance at the minimap between rooms to decide your next direction instead of guessing.
