How the Mod Changes Progression

SkyBlock Advancements Mod reworks Minecraft's advancement system so it fits a Skyblock world instead of a normal overworld. Standard Story and Nether advancements are adjusted, since their original requirements assume terrain, structures, and resources that a Skyblock map does not provide. The mod replaces those assumptions with goals that match the way Skyblock play actually unfolds.

On top of the reworked vanilla advancements, the mod adds its own advancements. These exist to give you extra objectives beyond the usual milestones, so there is always a next goal to work toward as your island grows.

The overall effect is guidance: rather than guessing what to do next, you follow an advancement path built around Skyblock's distinct challenges. Each completed advancement signals real progress and points you toward the following step. Because the mod only touches advancements, it does not add blocks, items, or recipes, and it works alongside whatever Skyblock map or generator you already use.
