Safely Expand Your Island Without Falling
Plan Your Expansion
Before building outward, decide which direction to expand and how far. Use your cobblestone generator to produce enough blocks for your bridge or platform. Always build in daylight or with adequate lighting to see clearly.
Build With Safety First
1. Start from solid ground on your main island
2. Place blocks in a line extending outward, staying at least 2-3 blocks wide
3. Build railings or walls on both sides as you go—at least 1 block high
4. Place torches or other light sources along your path
5. Test each section before committing to longer stretches
Prevent Accidents
Never rush expansion or build single-block-wide paths. Always look down before stepping forward. If you're carrying valuable items, consider storing them safely before exploring new areas. Build backup routes and ensure your main island remains accessible. As your island grows, create multiple connection points so you have options if one path becomes blocked or damaged.
