Build Your First Cobblestone Generator

Gather Your Materials

You'll need lava and water to create an infinite cobblestone source. Check your starting chest for lava bucket. If you don't have water yet, you may need to find ice in your starting items and melt it using the lava, or locate water through other means.

Set Up the Generator

1. Find a safe spot on your island away from the edge

2. Place your lava source block

3. Position water to flow across the lava (water should touch the lava but not mix completely)

4. The collision point creates cobblestone

5. Use a pickaxe to mine the cobblestone as it forms

6. The lava and water remain, creating unlimited blocks

Expand Safely

Once cobblestone flows, you can mine it continuously and use it to build outward. Create platforms and bridges carefully—always build railings or walls to prevent accidental falls. This generator becomes your primary building material for expanding your island, so protect it and keep it accessible.
