Set Up a Skyblock World with Void or Ocean Below

Choose Your Bottom Layer

In the world generation menu, locate the base layer setting. You have two primary options:

  • Void: Creates a true skyblock experience with nothing but empty space below your islands
  • Ocean: Generates a massive liquid ocean beneath all islands

Select Your Liquid Type

If you chose ocean, the mod lets you decide whether that ocean is water or lava. Water creates a traditional skyblock aesthetic and allows water travel, while lava adds danger and a more hostile environment.

Adjust Island Height Range

Set the minimum and maximum height limits for island generation. For skyblock, you typically want islands spawning in the upper portion of the sky to maximize the void or ocean distance below.

Configure Island Shapes

Choose from available island shapes like flat tops, bowls, craters, or layered terraces. Different shapes affect how much usable terrain you have and create varied gameplay experiences.

Create and Load

Save these settings as a preset, then generate your world. Your skyblock arena is ready for survival challenges.
