Create a Custom Island World with Specific Size Distribution

Access the Preset Menu

When creating a new world, select Sky Archipelago as your world type. This opens the mod's dedicated preset configuration menu where all island generation settings are centralized.

Configure Island Sizes

Locate the island size settings. You can choose between two approaches:

• Random distribution: Let the mod generate a natural mix of small, medium, and large islands across your world
• Custom spawn chances: Manually set the probability for each island size category to appear

If you want mostly small islands with occasional large ones, increase the small island percentage and decrease large island spawn rates accordingly.

Set Density and Spacing

Adjust the island density slider to control how close together islands spawn. Higher density creates a crowded archipelago perfect for parkour challenges, while lower density spreads islands far apart for a more isolated survival experience.

Save Your Configuration

Once satisfied with your settings, save the preset with a memorable name. You can now load this configuration anytime you create a new world, or share the text code with other players for them to import your exact setup.
