Create an End-Style or Alternate Dimension Sky
Applying Alternative Sky Themes
Sky Aesthetics allows you to apply End-like skies, void skies, or completely custom color schemes to the Overworld or other dimensions without mods that change dimension mechanics.
Steps to Change Sky Appearance
1. Access your Sky Aesthetics configuration
2. Find the sky theme or preset section
3. Select or create a custom sky profile with:
- Sky color: Hex or RGB values for the background
- Horizon color: Separate color for the horizon line
- Star visibility: Whether stars show during day/night
- Sun/Moon: Enable, disable, or customize their appearance
4. Apply the theme to your desired dimension (Overworld, Nether, etc.)
5. Reload and check the results
Creating a Void-Like Sky
- Set sky color to very dark or black
- Disable or darken the sun and moon
- Enable stars to remain visible at all times
- Remove clouds for a cleaner look
Tips
- Combine custom skies with matching terrain or building themes
- Test your colors in different lighting conditions
- Some configurations allow time-of-day color transitions for gradual changes
