Troubleshoot Armor Not Displaying as Minimal Frames
Common Reasons Armor Looks Normal
If your armor appears bulky instead of as slim frames, the resource pack may not be active, or the armor piece isn't supported by Skinframe Elite.
Checking Your Setup
1. Verify the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack menu (should appear in the active list, not disabled)
2. Confirm it's loaded above conflicting packs (other armor packs should be below Skinframe Elite in load order)
3. Check if the armor is supported: review the mod list—if your armor mod isn't listed, it won't be reskinned
4. Restart your game after enabling the pack; some texture changes require a full reload
5. Look at armor stands in creative mode to compare; if stands show minimal frames but your inventory doesn't, it's a display issue
If Armor Still Looks Bulky
- Unsupported mod armor will keep its original texture—use the custom texture generator if available
- Conflicting resource packs override Skinframe Elite; disable other armor or cosmetic packs
- Corrupted pack files may prevent proper loading; re-download or reinstall
- Modded armor with custom models sometimes can't be reskinned; this is a technical limitation
Minimal frames should appear immediately once the pack is active and the armor is supported.
