How to Configure the Skin Shuffle Carousel and Preview Widget

Opening the Config Screen

Skin Shuffle uses YACL for its configuration. Open the config screen from the mod list (the config button next to Skin Shuffle) or via the in-game mod menu, depending on your loader. Everything here is client-side and affects only how the carousel looks and behaves for you.

Carousel and Preview Options

• Carousel rotation speed — controls how fast presets spin in the preview. Slow it down if the motion is distracting, or speed it up to browse faster.
• Cursor tracking — makes the preview follow your mouse. Turn it off if you prefer a static view.
• Preview widget location — move where the preview appears on screen so it doesn't cover your hotbar, chat, or other HUD elements.

Steps to Tune It

1. Open the config screen.

2. Adjust rotation speed to a comfortable value.

3. Toggle cursor tracking on or off to taste.

4. Reposition the preview widget if it overlaps other UI.

5. Save and close — changes apply immediately, no restart needed.

Notes

• These settings are purely visual; they don't change which skin is applied.
• If the preview feels laggy, lowering rotation speed or disabling cursor tracking reduces the render cost.
• Cape and ear customization are planned features, so watch for new options appearing in this same config screen in future updates.
