Observe Mob Animations in the Wild
Spot Enhanced Hostile Mobs
Several common hostile mobs receive animation overhauls:
- Zombies shamble with slouched, uneven gaits
- Skeletons stand upright with natural posture
- Spiders crawl with realistic limb coordination
These changes are visual only and don't affect mob behavior, damage, or AI.
Watch Animations in Action
Observe mobs in their natural habitat. Zombies will lumber toward you with exaggerated, jerky movements. Skeletons maintain an alert stance while aiming. Spiders move with fluid, multi-legged coordination. These animations help you read mob intent and movement patterns more intuitively.
Use Animations for Strategy
The improved visuals make it easier to predict mob movements. A skeleton's drawn-back bow stance signals an incoming arrow; a spider's crawl pattern shows its approach path. Use these visual cues to dodge and position yourself better during combat.
Disable if Desired
If mob animations feel distracting, toggle them off in the settings menu (press G).
