Capture Cinematic Screenshots with Optimal Lighting
Timing Your Shots
Singularity Shaders excels at specific times of day. Plan your screenshots around:
- Golden Hour: Early morning or late afternoon when sunlight is warm and directional, creating long shadows and dramatic atmospheric effects.
- Night Time: When realistic stars and the black hole dominate the sky. The contrast between darkness and stellar detail is striking.
- Sunrise/Sunset: When the sky transitions through rich colors and the black hole becomes visible against colorful gradients.
Positioning for Maximum Impact
- Frame your subject with water in the foreground to showcase fluid wave effects and light refraction.
- Position the black hole deliberately in your composition—off-center for balance, or centered for dramatic focus.
- Use terrain elevation changes to create depth; the shader's atmospheric lighting emphasizes layered landscapes.
Adjusting In-Game Settings
Before capturing:
- Disable the HUD and hand for clean shots.
- Increase render distance to show off distant atmospheric effects.
- Ensure brightness and gamma settings match your intended mood—darker for mystery, brighter for clarity.
Take multiple shots from different angles and times to find your best results.
