Adjust the Black Hole Position and Intensity
Locating the Shader Settings
Access the shader configuration menu by pressing the designated shader settings key (typically Right Shift or a custom bind in your controls). Look for the Sky or Celestial section within the settings panel.
Customizing the Black Hole
Within the sky settings, you'll find sliders and toggles for the black hole's appearance:
- Position: Adjust horizontal and vertical placement to move the black hole across your sky. Many players position it near the horizon for dramatic effect during sunset, or directly overhead for immersive gameplay.
- Intensity/Brightness: Control how brightly the event horizon glows. Lower values create a subtle cosmic presence; higher values make it a dominant visual feature.
- Disable Entirely: If the black hole interferes with your preferred aesthetic, toggle it off completely while keeping other shader features active.
Applying Changes
Most adjustments apply in real-time. Exit the settings menu and observe the sky to see your changes. Experiment with different positions during various times of day—the black hole's appearance shifts dramatically with the sun's angle and lighting conditions.
