Adjust the Aura Range of Battle Standards

Access Configuration Settings

Navigate to config/simplyswords_main/battle_standard_tweaks.json in your Minecraft folder. This file contains the aura range parameter that controls how far the magic circle extends from the standard.

Modify Aura Radius

Locate the aura range value in the configuration. This number represents the distance in blocks that the standard's magical effects reach. Increasing this value expands the area of effect, while decreasing it creates a tighter radius.

Apply and Verify

Save your changes and restart Minecraft or reload your world. Hold the Battle Standard and observe the particle effects—they should now display the new range. Test by moving mobs in and out of the aura to confirm the effect activates and deactivates at the correct distance.

Consider your playstyle: larger ranges provide broader support but may feel overpowered, while smaller ranges require closer positioning to allies or enemies.
