Trigger Festering Strike on Enemies

Basic Attack Method

Festering Strike is automatically cast when you attack with a compatible weapon. You don't need to perform special key combinations or charge attacks—simply swing normally.

1. Equip one of the Festering Strike weapons in your main hand (Toxic Longsword, Tainted Relic, or any scythe)

2. Approach an enemy in combat range

3. Left-click to attack as you normally would

4. The magic effect triggers on hit, dealing extra damage beyond your weapon's base damage

What to Expect

When Festering Strike activates, affected enemies take additional magic damage. The spell applies its effects automatically—there's no cooldown management or mana system to track. Each successful hit with a compatible weapon has the potential to trigger the effect, making these weapons particularly effective for sustained combat against multiple foes.

Keep in mind that the data pack requires both Simply Swords and Death Knights mods to function. If the effect isn't appearing, verify both mods are properly installed and enabled in your world.
