Speed Up Translation with Cached Results

How Translation Caching Works

The mod automatically saves translations to your computer so repeated text translates instantly without contacting the API again.

1. As you play and encounter translated text, the mod stores those results locally

2. When you see the same text again (on signs, in chat, on items), it loads from cache instead of making a new API request

3. This happens automatically—no configuration needed

4. Your cache persists between game sessions

Benefits and Limitations

Caching dramatically improves performance, especially in multiplayer worlds where the same messages appear frequently. However, if you change your target language in settings, cached translations won't update automatically for text you've already seen. If you want fresh translations in a new language, you may need to clear your cache through the mod settings or encounter new text the mod hasn't seen before.
