Set Up Your Translation API

Add Your API Credentials

Before the mod can translate anything, you need to connect it to a translation service.

1. Open your game menu and navigate to Mod Settings or Options

2. Find the Simpletranslation Mod configuration panel

3. Locate the fields for API Link, API Key, and Preferred Language

4. Enter your translation service's API endpoint URL in the API Link field

5. Paste your authentication key into the API Key field

6. Select your target language from the dropdown menu

7. Save your settings and close the menu

Verify It's Working

Once configured, the mod will begin translating automatically. Look at any sign, book, or chat message—you should see translated text overlay the original. If nothing appears, double-check that your API key is valid and your internet connection is active. The mod caches translations locally, so repeated text loads faster on subsequent encounters.
