Integrate Live Player Statistics into Your Scoreboard

Using PlaceholderAPI Integration

SimpleScore Plugin works with PlaceholderAPI to display real-time player data. Common placeholders include player name, level, balance, playtime, and custom server statistics.

Adding Placeholders to Your Scoreboard

1. Identify the PlaceholderAPI placeholders your server supports (typically formatted as %placeholder_name%)

2. Add these placeholders to your scoreboard line configuration

3. Use /sb reload to apply changes

Example scoreboard lines might include:

  • %player_name% - displays the viewing player's name
  • %player_level% - shows player level
  • %vault_eco_balance% - displays player balance (if Vault is installed)
  • Custom server placeholders for kills, deaths, or quest progress

Testing

After adding placeholders, verify they update in real-time as player stats change. If a placeholder shows as text instead of updating, ensure the placeholder plugin is installed and the syntax is correct. Use /sb force to manually refresh scoreboards if needed.
